I'm back again with more food review entry again and this time I would like to introduce a new makan place which is only about 3 months old. From what I know, the word Impromptu means a free-form musical composition with the character of an ex tempore improvisation as if prompted by the spirit of the moment, usually for a solo instrument, such as piano but in this case, this Impromptu is all about fusion HAND-MADE pasta, hot food, sandwiches and many more...
Located at the first floor of Menara Hap Seng.

Crispy Crab Cakes (RM 9.90) *smaller servings now*
Made with fresh crab meat & crab stick served with chili mayo sauce.
Lamburger
Own-made juicy lamb patty with spices topped with mango chutney & BBQ sauce.
- The lamb patty is good and tender :)
Japanese Wafu Salad with Soft Shell Crab (RM 16.90)
Deep fried soft shell crab served with fresh salad. Dressing is Japanese wafu dressing, a vinaigrette salad dressing made from olive oil & finely chopped veggies (carrots, onions, garlic).
Sauteed Mushroom & Veggies Panini (RM 14.90)
Mixed mushrooms & veggies sauteed with Impromptu sauce served on toasted panini bread. It's a vegetarian dish.
Grilled Chicken Pesto with plain fettuccine (RM 15.90)
Pesto sauce is chef's recipe. Made with fresh basil leaves, olive oil &
spices.
Seafood Tom Yam with mixed herbs fettuccine (RM 15.90)
Sauce is combination of cream base & own-made tom yam paste.
Curried Soft Shell Crab with charcoal spaghetti (RM 18.90)
Sauce is combination of cream base (eg. carbonara/alfredo) & masala curry.
Soft shell crab is also coated with curry powder & spices and deep fried.

Price range for this category is RM 14.90 to RM 19.90. All pasta is served
with pasta of the day (charcoal, mixed herbs or plain spaghetti/fettuccine)
Here comes the best part for most of the girls out there.....DESSERT!!!

- I would prefer the alcohol version...
Chocolate Cheese Brownie with vanilla ice-cream (RM 9.90)
Made with Belgian dark chocolate & Philadelphia cream cheese & walnut.
- The Belgian dark chocolate on top was a bit too hard though, maybe they should make a thinner slice of the chocolate.
Assorted flavors of Macaroons.
- The one with cheese, cream & apricot is quite special.

They do provide set meals which are available from opening till 3pm, price ranging from RM11.90 to RM 20.90. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch but too bad they closed at weekends.
